I was honored to be selected as a vendor with the 10th anniversary at Beechwood Arts, hosted by Jeannine Esposito and Frederick Chiu. I was one of four vendors.
The day was packed with performances by pianists, poets, puppeteers, spoken word artists, and two men who created art / played bongoes / sang / deconstructed the oppressive weight of slavery on today’s race relations.
Oh, and there was also a man being body-painted to blend in with the 400 year-old Beechwood tree. Jerri Graham took some lovely photographs of me at my selling station.
Beechwood is a generous, community-minded arts gathering-place at the private home of Jeannine and Frederick. I was grateful to be among such creative folks for the day!
